I was not a regular Church goer, and I haven’t actually been to Church in about 8 years. I was living deeply in the Babylonian system, but in my heart, I knew that I was searching for more. My heart was having a hunger to turn back to Christ. In August 2021 a friend invited me to attend Heritage of Faith with him. I saw the love of the people and I saw how much they loved God. I have never been to a Church before where I experienced the Word in such an honest and truthful way. I continued to attend every Sunday and also Tuesday night Prayer Services. I remember one Sunday morning the MiXchangers from the year 2021 all gave their testimonies on stage, and I was shocked to see such young people have so much love for God and how they can live outside of the Babylonian system and in the presence of God. I sat in that service and thought to myself how wonderful it would be to have an experience like that, but I thought that the opportunity was only for people who just matriculated, so I didn’t give it much attention afterward. It was about two months later that I received a message from Pastor Christi, asking me if I would be interested in joining the MiXchange program because Holy Spirit has been placing me on her heart a lot lately. I almost jumped out of my chair from excitement and gave a definite YES! At the time I was still living in Middelburg, but I decided to pack my bags and moved back to Witbank! Since I made the choice, God has always been providing for me. God said He is taking the Children, and God continues to take me on a daily basis. I am very grateful for being able to be a part of this amazing experience, and I give God all the glory!
